Make a card that features a framed tulip motif, using the tulip strip folding template. This card is great for about any occasion and, especially, in springtime or to brighten someone's day.

Prep work: Download and print the tulip pattern on paper. The pattern includes a template in two sizes—2¼" and 3".
To make the card: Follow the instructions in the Strip Folding Heart Cards tutorial, steps 3 thru 7, then 9 and 10. In Step 5, use strips of patterned paper in spring colors for the frame/border. In Step 7, fold and apply strips as indicated in the template from #1 thru #11. Use blue for the background areas: 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 and 10. Use spring green paper strips for the leaves: 3 and 4. Use red or pink paper for the tulip areas: 7, 8, and 11.
